I’m Linda.

I am a Travel Advisor with Paradise Weddings and Travel. I have been in the travel industry for six years, and have been specializing in destination weddings and romance travel for about five of those six.

Unlike most travel advisors, I planned my own destination wedding in the Riviera Maya, MX on 12-12-16. So not only have I helped over 100 couples plan their destination wedding, I have the unique perspective of planning my own. I can totally sympathize with my couples and the stress they go through. My goal is to help alleviate that stress and make the entire process fun! I’m there with my clients every step of the way.

I don’t just do weddings, so let’s plan your babymoon, honeymoon, family vacation, family reunion, birthday, weekend getaway, always wanted to go to a nudist resort and ready to take the plunge (HELLO Hidden Beach Resort!), LOL. It doesn’t matter, I can likely help you so please reach out to me.

A little more about me…

I met my husband Caleb in our home state of Minnesota, and we now reside in fabulous Las Vegas. He is a fifth grade math and science teacher at an amazing charter school. He’s the best person I know and my biggest cheerleader! We got married at the gourmet inclusive, adults only property, El Dorado Royale by Karisma on 12-12-16. It was the best day of our lives and I cannot recommend the Karisma brand enough!

And cats too, really any and all animals (maybe not spiders). I have two rescued terriers named Mason, and Weezy (she literally weasels her way into your arms no matter what you are doing) and they are my kids.

I have a passion for old stuff. Vintage clothing, hair, makeup, decor, music, architecture…I love it all! My husband and I recently bought our first home in a mid century modern neighborhood called Paradise Palms. So now I live and work in Paradise! Our neighborhood is where the “Casino House” is located and many celebrities have lived in our hood over the years. Think mini Palm Springs (our house has accents of orange and turquoise).

Vegas has some of the best restaurants in the world, even off of the strip (message me for details) and we love to try new types of food.  Also, one of the many perks of my job is that I get to go to some of the best resorts in the world with amazing food! It makes it challenging to stay in shape with all of that good food, so I am also into fitness. I taught Zumba/Group Fitness for many years in Minnesota. I no longer teach, but my love for dance fitness has not died and you can find me shaking what my mama gave me (or trying to pump iron) at LVAC here in Vegas.

I really, truly do, but it’s been some work to get here. I started my travel career with a well known online travel booking site assisting customers with high level issues. I learned a lot, but quickly realized I did not want to treat my customers like a number. I wanted to get to know them, help them customize their trip, and be there with them every step of the way. I left that company in pursuit of something smaller, and more hands on. I found a local company based out of Las Vegas where I really began my career as a true travel advisor and destination wedding expert. I enjoyed my years working in an office/9-5 type position, and appreciate all of the knowledge I gained, but I got the opportunity to be part of a very prestigious agency led by an exceptional woman. I jumped at the chance, and am proud to say that in October of 2017 I joined the dream team at Paradise Weddings and Travel . I couldn’t be more excited to be part of such a great agency and to continue this career I love so much!
